تأويل مختلف الحديث هو كتاب من تأليف ابن قتيبة (828 - 885 م/213 - 276 هـ)، وهو عالم إسلامي مشهور من العصر الذهبي للإسلام، يدافع فيه ويصالح الأحاديث التي رفضها المعتزلة والقرآنيون باعتبارها متناقضة أو غير عقلانية. تم الاستشهاد بالكتاب من قبل المؤلف المسيحي بولس بن رجاء في كتابه الوادي بالحلق حوالي عام 1010 لإبراز تناقضات الأحاديث. ترجمه وحرره جيرارد ليكومت تحت عنوان Le traité des divergences du hadit d'Ibn Qutayba (بالعربية: سمة الاختلافات في حديث ابن قتيبة).
Translation
A Different Interpretation of Hadith is a book by Ibn Qutaybah (828-885 AD/213-276 AH), a famous Islamic scholar from the Golden Age of Islam, in which he defends and reconciles hadiths that the Mu'tazilites and Qur'anists rejected as contradictory or irrational. The book was cited by the Christian author Boulos ibn Raja in his book Al-Wadi bil-Halq around the year 1010 to highlight the contradictions of the hadiths. Translated and edited by Gerard Lecomte under the title Le traité des divergences du hadit d'Ibn Qutayba (in Arabic: The trait of differences in the hadith of Ibn Qutayba).
