Jami’ al-Ulum wal-Hikam is: a book of hadith, and its full name is Jami’ al-Ulum wal-Hikam, in an explanation of fifty hadiths from the Jami’ al-Kalam, written by Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (736 AH - 795 AH). The book is an explanation of the forty Nawawi and it is the best explanation in terms of understanding the speech on the hadith in its chain of narration and text. Yahya bin Sharaf al-Nawawi collected forty-two hadiths, organized them, explained them, and called them the Forty. Al-Nawawi, then Ibn Rajab came and added eight to these forty and called it “The Collection of Sciences and Wisdom in the Explanation of Fifty Hadiths from the Collections of Kalam,” and the book was comprehensive; Ibn Rajab collected many knowledge in it, which are easy for the common man to understand and indispensable for the learner, including discussion of the hadith, whether it is true or weak...
