هذا الكتاب هو شرح للحديث النبوي المختصر المعروف بأربعين حديثاً نووية، ألفه ابن دقيق العيد لبيان معاني الأحاديث وفوائدها. يتناول المؤلف في شرحه مواضيع متعددة تتعلق بالأخلاق والعبادات والمعاملات، مستعرضاً أحكاماً شرعية وآداب إسلامية. يبدأ الكتاب بتقديمة تضمنت تعريفاً للرحمة وبياناً لمكانتها في التعامل مع الخلق، ثم ينتقل إلى شرح الأحاديث تباعاً مع التفسير والتأويل والفوائد المستفادة منها.
Translation
This book is an explanation of the brief Prophetic hadith known as the Forty Nawawi Hadiths, written by Ibn Daqiq al-Eid to explain the meanings of the hadiths and their benefits. In his explanation, the author deals with various topics related to morals, acts of worship, and transactions, reviewing legal provisions and Islamic etiquette. The book begins with an introduction that includes a definition of mercy and an explanation of its place in dealing with people. Then it moves on to explain the hadiths in turn, along with interpretation, interpretation, and the benefits learned from them.
