Translation

Al-Zabarjad’s contracts on the Musnad of Imam Ahmad in the parsing of the hadith is one of the books on hadith parsing. It was written by Al-Hafiz Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (849 AH - 911 AH). Al-Suyuti wrote this book on the method of parsing the hadith, relying on the book Musnad Ahmad, and included with it many other hadith books. Al-Suyuti arranged his book in the way Al-Akbari arranged his book, and Al-Suyuti reviewed the parsing of the hadith by Al-Akbari and the parsing of the hadith by Ibn Malik. He quotes their sayings in the parsing of the hadith and adds to them with what he understands and what he sees from other sayings. Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti said in his introduction:
