Translation
Al-Tha’alabi’s interpretation, called Al-Jawahir Al-Hasan fi Interpretation of the Qur’an, by Imam Abd al-Rahman al-Tha’alabi al-Maliki (786 AH - 875 AH). It is brief in interpretation and is considered an important reference in its section because it is considered the sap of Ibn Attiya’s interpretation, which Ibn Khaldun considers the sap of interpretations that preceded it. In general, it is considered an archaeological interpretation with a Sufi and preaching tendency that is concerned with social issues. It is also concerned with comparing various interpretations, and giving preference to some of them over others. The other, in many places in his interpretation.
