تفسير الإيجي، ألفه محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد الله الحسني الحسيني الإِيجي الشافعيّ المتوفى سنة 905 هـه، أراد من تأليفه للكتاب أن يصنف كتاباً مختصراً مليئاً بالفوائد العلمية لما رآه من انصراف الناس عن المطولات العلمية، ورغبة منه في المشاركة في التأليف في علم التفسير، وسماه: «جامع البيان في تفسير القرآن».
Translation
Tafsir al-Iji, written by Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Hasani al-Husseini al-Iji al-Shafi’i, who died in the year 905 AH. He wanted, in writing the book, to compile a brief book full of scientific benefits due to what he saw as people’s deviation from lengthy scholarly treatises, and his desire to participate in writing in the science of interpretation, and he called it: “Jami’ al-Bayan fi Tafsir al-Qur’an.”
