Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir al-Qur’an al-Grazim is one of the books of interpretations that combines the science of the text and translation with a detailed explanation of the Qur’anic passages. The author begins with an introduction in which he mentions his biography and a review of his sheikhs, then he discusses Surah Al-Fatihah, explaining its virtues and the hadiths mentioned in it.
