Jami’ al-Bayan fi Tafsir al-Qur’an or Jami’ al-Bayan fi Tafsir al-Qur’an or Jami’ al-Bayan fi Interpretation of the Qur’an, known as “Tafsir al-Tabari” by Imam Muhammad bin Jarir bin Yazid bin Katheer bin Ghalib, known as Imam Abu Jaafar al-Tabari, (224 AH-310 AH / 839-923 AD), is one of the most famous Islamic books specialized in the science of interpretation of the Holy Qur’an among the Sunnis and the community, and some consider it the first reference.
