Translation
The book “The Hadiths of Al-Muwatta’ and Mention of the Agreement of the Narrators on the authority of Malik” by Al-Daraqutni is a work in the science of abstraction and additions, specializing in the study of the hadiths attributed to the Muwatta of Imam Malik ibn Anas. The author mentions the hadiths contained in Al-Muwatta in order according to the sheikhs of Malik, starting with Al-Zuhri, while tracking the difference of narrators from Malik and their agreement, and the uniqueness of some of them in narrating from him. The book aims to document the chains of transmission of Al-Muwatta and explain its narrations by comparing the narrations of Malik’s various students.
