هذا كتابٌ بحثيٌّ يُعنى بدراسة شخصية إبراهيم بن محمد بن سفيان، راوية صحيح مسلم، وبيان روايته للصحيح وأهميتها، مع تتبع الزيادات التي أضافها على متن الكتاب وتعليقاته عليه. يقع الكتاب في أربعة مباحث، تبدأ بترجمة ابن سفيان، ثم تنتقل إلى دراسة روايته لصحيح مسلم والرد على ما وجه إليها من نقد، ثم تفصيل زياداته التي بلغت ثلاث عشرة زيادة مع تخريجها ودراستها، وأخيراً تعليقاته على الصحيح.
Translation
This is a research book concerned with studying the personality of Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Sufyan, the narrator of Sahih Muslim, and explaining his narration of the Sahih and its importance, while tracking the additions he added to the text of the book and his comments on it. The book falls into four sections, starting with Ibn Sufyan’s translation, then moving on to studying his narration of Sahih Muslim and responding to the criticism directed at it, then detailing his additions, which amounted to thirteen, with their graduation and study, and finally his comments on the Sahih.
