كتاب "غاية المقصد في زوائد المسند" للمؤلف نور الدين الهيثمي هو كتاب في علم التخريج والزوائد، جمع فيه المؤلف الأحاديث التي انفرد بها الإمام أحمد بن حنبل في مسنده عن الكتب الستة، مع إضافة ما زاده ولده عبد الله بن أحمد والنسائي في سننه الكبرى. وقد رتب المؤلف هذه الزوائد على أبواب الفقه، مبتدئًا بكتاب الإيمان، وذكر في مقدمته منهجه في إيراد الحديث كاملاً أو الاقتصار على الزيادة فيه، مع الإشارة إلى ما رواه غيره من المحدثين.

Translation

The book “Ghayat al-Maqsad fi Zawa’id al-Musnad” by the author Nour al-Din al-Haythami is a book on the science of graduation and additions, in which the author collected the hadiths that were unique to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal in his Musnad from the six books, with the addition of what his son Abdullah ibn Ahmad and al-Nasa’i added in his major Sunan. The author arranged these additions to the chapters of jurisprudence, beginning with the Book of Faith, and mentioned in his introduction his approach to citing the entire hadith or limiting himself to adding to it, with reference to what other hadith scholars narrated.
