مجمع الزوائد ومنبع الفوائد أحد كتب الحديث، جمع فيه الحافظ الهيثمي زوائد: مسند أحمد، ومسند البزار، ومسند أبي يعلى الموصلي، ومعاجم الطبراني الثلاثة. على الكتب الستة، وقام بحذف أسانيدها، وكان قد قام قبل تأليف مجمع الزوائد بتصنيف زوائد كلّ كتاب على حدة مع إبقائه على الأسانيد وبيانها كالتالي: مجمع البحرين في زوائد المعجمين ( المعجم الأوسط والصغير ). البدر المنير في زوائد المعجم الكبير للطبراني. كشف الأستار في زوائد مسند البزار. المقصد الأرشد في زوائد مسند الإمام أحمد. القول العلي في زوائد مسند أبي يعلى الموصلي. فنصحه شيخه زين الدين أبو الفضل عبد الرحيم بن العراقي وقال له:

Majma’ al-Zawa’id and Manba’ al-Fawa’id is one of the books of hadith, in which Al-Hafiz al-Haythami collected additions: Musnad Ahmad, Musnad al-Bazzar, Musnad Abu Ya’la al-Mawsili, and the three dictionaries of al-Tabarani. On the six books, he deleted their chains of transmission. Before writing Majma’ al-Zawa’id, he had classified the additions of each book separately, while keeping the chains of transmission and explaining them as follows: The Bahrain Council on the additions of the two dictionaries (the middle and small dictionaries). Al-Badr Al-Munir in the additions to the great dictionary by Al-Tabarani. Uncovering the curtains in the appendages of the seedbed. The most rational purpose in the additions to the Musnad of Imam Ahmad. The highest saying in the additions of Musnad Abu Ya`la al-Mawsili. His sheikh, Zain al-Din Abu al-Fadl Abd al-Rahim bin al-Iraqi, advised him and said to him:
