المذاكرة في ألقاب الشعراء للنشابي الإربلي هي مؤلف تراجم وطبقات يختص بدراسة ألقاب الشعراء العرب، حيث يقسمها إلى فصول بحسب سبب اللقب مثل ما يُستمد من شعره، أو من علامته، أو من لونه، أو من فعلٍ يطغى على اسمه. يتضمن الكتاب سردًا للعديد من الشعراء مع توضيح نسبهم وأقوالهم التي سُميت بألقابهم، ويعتمد في ذلك على منهجية تصنيفية دقيقة دون إطالة.
Translation
Study of the Nicknames of Poets by Al-Nashabi Al-Erbli is an author of biographies and classes who specializes in studying the nicknames of Arab poets, dividing them into chapters according to the reason for the nickname, such as what is derived from his poetry, or from his mark, or from his color, or from a verb that dominates his name. The book includes a narration of many poets, explaining their lineage and the sayings that gave them their titles. It relies on a precise classification methodology without length.
