كتاب «مسامرات الظريف بحسن التعريف» للشيخ محمد السنوسي هو مؤلف تراجم وطبقات يضم سلاسل من سير المولى حسين باشا باي وغيرهم من الباشايات التونسيين، مع إشارة إلى تواريخ ولاياتهم ومناصبهم. يشتمل الجزء الأول على تعريف بأئمة جامع الزيتونة، ما يضيف بعداً علمياً إلى العمل إلى جانب السرد التاريخي للسلطات. يُرتب المحتوى وفق ترتيب آلي يربط بين الشخصيات والحقب الزمنية، ويُظهر جهودهم في بناء القصور والمدارس والمساجد. يهدف الكتاب إلى توثيق مسارات هؤلاء القادة والعلماء في تاريخ تونس.
Translation
The book “Masmarat Al-Darif bi Hasan Definition” by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Senussi is the author of biographies and classes, which includes sequences from the biographies of Mawla Hussein Pasha Bey and other Tunisian pashas, with reference to the dates of their mandates and positions. The first part includes an introduction to the imams of the Zaytouna Mosque, which adds a scientific dimension to the work alongside the historical narrative of the authorities. The content is arranged in a mechanical order that links the characters and the time periods, and shows their efforts in building palaces, schools, and mosques. The book aims to document the paths of these leaders and scholars in the history of Tunisia.
