This book, “Al-Tabyin li Asma’ al-Mudalisin,” was written by Burhan al-Din, the son of Ibn al-Ajami, and falls within the scope of biographies and classes. The book deals with the topic of fraud in hadith and includes biographies of narrators based on dictionary letters and nicknames, with an introduction showing the importance of the science of chains of transmission in preserving the Islamic religion and examining the news. The author aims to document the men and scrutinize their hadiths to distinguish the correct from the incorrect in transmitting hadith.
