هذا الكتاب "التقييد لمعرفة رواة السنن والمسانيد" لمؤلفه ابن نقطة، وهو تصنيف في علم الرجال يتناول معرفة رواة الكتب الحديثية الستة الكبرى وأخرى من كتب السنن والمسانيد. يهدف الكتاب إلى تقديم معلومات عن جرح وتعديل هؤلاء الرواة ومكانتهم عند العلماء، مع التركيز على الأكثر شهرة ورواجاً بينهم. جاءت هذه المصنفات بناءً على طلب الشيخ القرطبي الذي أراد معرفة أخبار الرواة ومستواهم في التحقيق والتعديل.

This book, “The Limitation to Knowing the Narrators of the Sunan and Musnads,” by Ibn Nuqtah, is a classification in the science of men that deals with knowledge of the narrators of the six major hadith books and other books of the Sunan and Musnad. The book aims to provide information about the distortion and modification of these narrators and their status among scholars, with a focus on the most famous and popular among them. These works came at the request of Sheikh Al-Qurtubi, who wanted to know the news of the narrators and their level of investigation and editing.
