الدر المنثور في طبقات ربات الخدور لزينب فواز هو عمل تراجي وتطبقي يختص بسير نساء مختلفات من عصور وثقافات متعددة، حيث يُرتّب محتواه أبجديًا بدءًا بحرف الألف ويضم شخصيات عربية كآمنة بنت عبد المطلب وشخصيات غير عربية مثل أرسينوي ابنة بطليموس الأول وأرتمسيا ملكة هاليكرناسوس. يدمج الكتاب بين السرد التاريخي والبياني، مستندًا إلى مصادر تراثية لتقديم لمحات عن حياة هؤلاء النساء ومكانتهن في مجتمعاتهن، معتمدًا على أسلوب سردي يُظهر جوانب الحكمة والبلاغة والفضائل التي عُرفت بها. يظلّ الكتاب مرجعًا للباحثين عن تاريخ المرأة في التراث الإسلامي والعالمي.
Translation
Al-Durr al-Manthun fi Tabaqat Rabbat al-Khadur by Zainab Fawaz is a tragic and applied work that specializes in the biographies of different women from multiple eras and cultures. Its content is arranged alphabetically, starting with the letter Alif, and includes Arab characters such as Amna bint Abd al-Muttalib and non-Arab characters such as Arsinoe, daughter of Ptolemy I, and Artemisia, Queen of Halicarnassus.
