الرياض النضرة في مناقب العشرة للطبري محب الدين هو كتاب تراجم وطبقات يختص بذكر مناقب العشرة الكرام من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ويعرض تفصيلاً لمآثرهم وفضائلهم وفق أقسام متعددة تشمل ما جاء عن فضلهم، والتحذير من الخوض في شجرهم، وما يخص الأربعة خلفاء وأبي بكر وعمر وعثمان. كما يضيف القسم الثاني من الكتاب مناقب الأفراد، حيث يخصص فصولاً مفصلة لكل من أبي بكر الصديق وأبي حفص عمر بن الخطاب، تتناول نسبهم، إسلام أبويهم، أسمائهم، صفاتهم، هجراتهم، خصائصهم، فضائلهم، خلافاتهم، ومواضيع أخرى متعلقة بحياتهم. الكتاب مقسم إلى مجلدين يضم كل منهما فصولاً منظمة تسلط الضوء على سيرة وتاريخ هؤلاء الصحابة والخلفاء.

Translation

Al-Riyadh al-Nadhra fi the Virtues of the Ten by al-Tabari Muhibb al-Din is a book of biographies and classes that specializes in mentioning the virtues of the ten honorable Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and presents in detail their exploits and virtues according to multiple sections that include what was mentioned about their virtue, the warning against delving into their trees, and what concerns the four caliphs, Abu Bakr, Omar, and Uthman. The second section of the book also adds the virtues of individuals, as it devotes detailed chapters to each of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and Abu Hafs Omar ibn al-Khattab, dealing with their lineage, the conversion of their parents to Islam, their names, characteristics, migrations, characteristics, virtues, differences, and other topics related to their lives. The book is divided into two volumes, each of which includes organized chapters that shed light on the biography and history of these companions and caliphs.
