كتاب «الغصون اليانعة في محاسن شعراء المائة السابعة» لابن سعيد المغربي هو معجم تراجم يختص بشعراء القرن السابع، يضم سيرهم وأعمالهم مع إشارة إلى سنوات ميلادهم ووفاتهم. يُقسم المحتوى إلى فصول تُعنى بكل سنة، وتحت كل سنة تُدرج ترجمات مختارة لأشعار الشعراء مع تعليقات توضيحية. يندرج هذا العمل ضمن تصنيف التراجم والطبقات، ويُعنى بتوثيق حياة الأدباء وتقييم إبداعاتهم الشعرية.

Translation

The book “The Fresh Branches in the Beauties of the Poets of the Seventh Century” by Ibn Saeed al-Maghribi is a biographical dictionary of poets of the seventh century, including their biographies and works, with reference to the years of their birth and death. The content is divided into chapters dealing with each year, and under each year selected translations of the poets’ poems are included with explanatory comments.
