هذا الكتاب "المعجم في مشتبه أسامي المحدثين" لمؤلفه الهروي أبو الفضل، يتناول موضوع التراجم والطبقات، ويهدف إلى توضيح التشابه في أسماء الرواة والمحدثين، وبيان الفروق بينهم لتجنب الالتباس في نقل الحديث. يتناول الكتاب أسامي المحدثين المشتبهة ويفردها حسب الحروف الهجائية، مع إبراز الفروق بين الأشخاص الذين يتشابه أسماؤهم أو ألقابهم.
Translation
This book, “The Dictionary of the Suspect Names of Hadith Scholars,” by Al-Harawi Abu al-Fadl, deals with the subject of translations and classes, and aims to clarify the similarity in the names of narrators and hadith scholars, and to clarify the differences between them to avoid confusion in transmitting the hadith. The book deals with the names of suspected hadith scholars and separates them according to the alphabet, highlighting the differences between people whose names or surnames are similar.
