An appendix to the predecessors of the era by Abdullah Al-Jazairi is a book of the type of biographies and classes that specializes in narrating the biographies and circumstances of a number of Shiite writers and poets. The book includes figures such as Ismail bin Saad al-Musawi al-Huwaizi, Maatouq bin Shihab al-Din al-Musawi al-Huwaizi, Sheikh Fathallah bin Alwan al-Kaabi al-Dawrqi, Qawam al-Din al-Hasani al-Saifi al-Qazwini, al-Nur al-Din bin Nimat Allah al-Jazairi, the scholar Ali Balil al-Musawi al-Durqi, and Ibrahim bin Ali Balil al-Durqi. It aims to collect information about these writers and document their contributions to the Shiite literary heritage. It relies on historical literary sources to provide a comprehensive picture of the poets and writers of the era’s predecessors.
