الكتاب من تأليف النسائي ويقع ضمن تصنيف التراجم والطبقات، حيث يختص بتسمية من رُوي عنه الحديث أو القول من رجل واحد فقط، ويُدرجهم وفقاً للطبقات الفقهية والجغرافية مثل أصحاب المدينة، وأهل مصر، والفقهاء من الكوفة والبصرة والشام وغيرها، مع إشارة إلى أسانيدهم وملاحظات حول عدم وجود رواة آخرين. يهدف إلى توثيق هذه الأسماء وتحديد مكانتها في علم الحديث والفقه.
Translation
The book was written by Al-Nasa’i and falls within the classification of biographies and classes, as it specializes in naming those from whom the hadith or saying was narrated by only one man, and lists them according to jurisprudential and geographical classes, such as the people of Medina, the people of Egypt, and the jurists from Kufa, Basra, the Levant, and others, with a reference to their chains of transmission and notes about the absence of other narrators. It aims to document these names and determine their place in the science of hadith and jurisprudence.
