About this work
Translation
Tahdheeb al-Tahdheeb is one of the books of al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil, written by Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (773-852). The author wrote his book Tahdheeb al-Tahdheeb, which is an abbreviation of Tahdheeb al-Kamal by al-Hafiz al-Mizzi. Then Ibn Hajar summarized his Tahdheeb with this book, Tahdheeb al-Tahdheeb. The importance of the book is that it is a complete guide with the names of the narrators of the six noble books of the Prophet’s hadiths. Ibn Hajar restricted it to the name of its translator briefly, and the degree of its authentication. And his job, and the signs that Al-Mizzi mentioned to him, and the book is distinguished in that it mentioned the works of the authors of the six books, and summarized the talk about the narrator in a short, comprehensive, edited phrase.
