كتاب "جزء الأوهام في المشايخ النبل" للعلامة ضياء الدين أبو عبد الله المقدسي، هو ترجمة لكتاب "المشايخ النبل" لأبي القاسم علي بن الحسن بن هبتي الله الدمشقي، مع تصحيح بعض الأخطاء والملمحات التي وجد فيها المؤلف. يتناول الكتاب تراجم علماء وأئمة مشهورين، مراجعة ما ذكره المؤلف السابق عنهم وتصحيح ما احتمل أنه سهو منه. يتم تقسيم التراجم حسب الأسماء الأولى، ويبدأ الكتاب بباب أحمد، ثم ينتقل إلى باقي الأسماء تباعاً.

Translation

The book “Part of Illusions in the Noble Sheikhs” by the scholar Diya al-Din Abu Abdullah al-Maqdisi, is a translation of the book “The Noble Sheikhs” by Abu al-Qasim Ali bin al-Hasan bin Habti Allah al-Dimashqi, with the correction of some errors and hints that the author found in it. The book deals with biographies of famous scholars and imams, reviewing what the previous author mentioned about them and correcting what may have been an oversight on his part. The biographies are divided according to first names. The book begins with the chapter on Ahmed, then moves to the rest of the names in succession.
