This book, “Dhayl al-Taqeed fi Narrators of Sunan wal-Asnad,” by the scholar al-Taqi al-Fasi, deals with the biographies of hadith narrators and their classification, complementing the book “Al-Taqeed” by the jurist Taqi al-Din ibn al-Nuqtah. The author aims to add the names of hadith narrators who were neglected by the previous author, and document their narrations, while mentioning those who were not mentioned in the original book, with the aim of enriching the science of hadith and correcting its course. The book contains valuable information about the narrators of hadith books and their chains of transmission, and is concerned with collecting the scientific benefits related to the narration and authentication of hadith.
