كتاب ريحانة الألبا وزهرة الحياة الدنيا للشيخ الشهاب الخفاجي يندرج ضمن أدبيات التراجم والطبقات، ويجمع فيه سيرة وأقوال عدد من أعلام الشام ومناطقها كما يتضح من فهرس المحتويات الذي يذكر أسماءً مثل أحمد العناياتي ومحمد الصالحي الهلالي وغيرهما. يفتتح المؤلف الكتاب بمقدمة بلاغية تمجد الفصاحة والبلاغة، ثم يقسمه إلى أقسام تتناول محاسن وأفضال هؤلاء الشخصيات، مع إشارة إلى تفاصيلهم وفضائلهم. يهدف الكتاب إلى توثيق وتقديم ملامح حياة العلماء والفقهاء والوجوه الأدبية في التاريخ الإسلامي للمنطقة.
Translation
The book Rayhana Alba and the Flower of the Worldly Life by Sheikh Al-Shihab Al-Khafaji falls within the literature of biographies and classes, and it collects the biographies and sayings of a number of notables from the Levant and its regions, as is evident from the table of contents, which mentions names such as Ahmed Al-Anayati, Muhammad Al-Salhi Al-Hilali, and others. The author opens the book with a rhetorical introduction that glorifies eloquence and eloquence, then divides it into sections that deal with the virtues and merits of these characters, with reference to their details and virtues.
