يُعَدّ "طبقات الأولياء" لابن الملقن من مؤلفات التراجم والطبقات التي تجمع سيرة الأعلام الأعيان وأوتاد الأقطاب، مرتّبةً حسب الحروف وتضمّ شخصيات مثل إبراهيم بن أدهم وإبراهيم الخواص وإبراهيم بن شيبان القرميسيني وغيرهم. يركز المؤلف على عرض مآثرهم وأقوالهم ومواقفهم، مستنداً إلى سردٍ قصيرٍ يبرز فضائلهم ومقاماتهم الروحية. يهدف الكتاب إلى إرشاد القارئ إلى سلوكهم القويم والاستفادة من تجاربهم في طلب الحلال والالتزام بالعبادة.

Translation

“Tabaqat al-Awliya” by Ibn al-Mulqin is considered one of the works of biographies and classes that collects the biographies of prominent figures and notable figures, arranged according to letters, and includes figures such as Ibrahim ibn Adham, Ibrahim al-Khawas, Ibrahim ibn Shayban al-Qurmisini, and others. The author focuses on presenting their exploits, sayings, and positions, based on a short narration that highlights their virtues and spiritual positions. The book aims to guide the reader to their correct behavior and to benefit from their experiences in seeking what is permissible and committing to worship.
