معرفة القراء الكبار على الطبقات والأعصار، كتاب من تأليف محمد بن أحمد بن عثمان بن قايماز الذهبي، في طبقات القراء، ابتدأ فيها المؤلف تراجم القراء بدءا من الخليفة عثمان بن عفان إلى عصر الذهبي، وقد أبان بنفسه عن موضوع الكتاب فقال: «أما بعد، فهذا كتاب فيه معرفة المشهورين من القراء الأعيان، أولي الإسناد والإتقان، والتقدم في البلدان على الطبقات والأزمان، والله تعالى المستعان».وقد قسم الذهبي كتابه إلى 18 طبقة.
Translation
Knowledge of the Great Reciters on Classes and Classes, a book written by Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Othman bin Qaymaz Al-Dhahabi, on the Classes of Reciters, in which the author began biographies of the reciters starting from Caliph Othman bin Affan to the Golden Age. He himself explained the subject of the book and said: “As for what follows, this is a book that contains knowledge of the famous reciters, the notables, those with chain of transmission and mastery, and advanced in countries over classes and times, and God Almighty is the Helper.” Al-Dhahabi divided his book into 18 classes.
