مورد اللطافة في من ولي السلطنة والخلافة للكاتب ابن تغري بردي هو كتاب تراجم وطبقات يختصر تاريخ الخلفاء والسلاطين بدءًا من الخلافة الراشدية إلى سلاطين مصر الأيوبيين والأشرفيين، مع إشارة مختصرة إلى مولد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وبعض غزواته وآلائه. يشتمل على سرد مختصر لأسماء الخلفاء، السلاطين، أقربائهم، أزواجهم، خُلانهم ومؤذنيهم. يهدف المؤلف إلى تقديم تأريخ مختصر ومفيد للملوك والسلطة في الإسلام دون الخوض في تفاصيل مطولة.

Translation

The Resource of Kindness in Who is the Ruler of the Sultanate and the Caliphate by the writer Ibn Taghri Bardi is a book of biographies and classes that summarizes the history of the caliphs and sultans, starting from the Rashidun Caliphate to the Ayyubid and Ashrafiid sultans of Egypt, with a brief reference to the birth of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and some of his conquests and deeds. It includes a brief listing of the names of the caliphs, sultans, their relatives, wives, concubines, and muezzins. The author aims to provide a brief and useful history of kings and power in Islam without going into lengthy details.
