الأخبار الطوال كتاب للمؤلف أبو حنيفة الدينوري، هو العلامة ذو الفنون أحمد بن داود بن وتند الدينوري النحوي، كان لغوياً مهندساً حاسباً. يعد الكتاب منبعا ثريًا لجمع العديد من المعارف حول تاريخ الأسكندر ودولة الساسانيين، وفتوح العراق، وما وقع بين علي ومعاوية، وأخبار الخوارج، ومقتل الحسين وفتن الأزارقة، وفتنة المختار، وسقوط الأمويين، ومكائد العلويين، وخاصة في خراسان أثناء تناوله تاريخ الخلفاء.
Translation
Al-Akhbar Al-Tawwal is a book by the author Abu Hanifa Al-Dinauri. He is the scholar and master of arts, Ahmad bin Dawud bin Watand Al-Dinauri, the grammarian. He was a linguist, computer engineer. The book is a rich source for collecting a lot of knowledge about the history of Alexander and the Sassanian state, the conquests of Iraq, what happened between Ali and Muawiyah, the news of the Kharijites, the killing of Hussein and the strife of the Azariqs, the strife of Mukhtar, the fall of the Umayyads, and the machinations of the Alawites, especially in Khorasan while dealing with the history of the caliphs.
