الجماهر في معرفة الجواهر كتاب للمؤلف أبو الريحان محمد بن أحمد البيروني (المتوفى : 439هـ) كتاب قيم وغني بالمعلومات عن الأحجار الكريمة ، يصف فيه الكاتب الأحجار الكريمة بكل دقة وتفصيل من حيث الصفات والعيوب وأماكن وجودها، ومنافعها، وكيفية إصلاحها، وجداول أسعارها في البلدان والأزمان، وما اشتهر من قطعها النفيسة. والكتاب لا يستغنى عنة أي باحث أو هاوي للاحجار الكريمة. كما كتب فيها عن الفلزات وبالتحديد: الزئبق والذهب ومعادنه والفضة والنحاس والحديد والإسرب وغيرها.

Al-Jamahir fi Ma’rifat al-Jawahir is a book by the author Abu al-Rayhan Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Biruni (deceased: 439 AH). It is a valuable book and rich in information about precious stones, in which the author describes precious stones with all precision and detail in terms of their qualities and defects, their locations, their benefits, how to repair them, their price tables in countries and times, and their famous precious pieces. The book is indispensable for any researcher or amateur of gemstones. He also wrote about metals, specifically: mercury, gold and its metals, silver, copper, iron, isrba, and others.
