هذا كتابٌ لخّص فيه مؤلّفه خلاصة كلام الأقدمين والمتأخرين من الحكماء في ذكر الجواهر النفيسة بأصنافها وصفاتها، متناولاً معادنها المعروفة وقيمتها وخواصها. يقع الكتاب في أبوابٍ تشمل الحديث عن الياقوت بألوانه ومراتبه، والبلخش، والبجادي، والماس، والدر واللؤلؤ، والزمرد، والزبرجد، والفيروزج، والبلور، والدهنج، واليشب، والفاذزهر، والخرتوت، مع ذكر صفات كل جوهرة وعيوبها.
Translation
This is a book in which its author summarized the essence of the words of the ancient and later sages in mentioning precious gems with their types and qualities, addressing their known minerals, their value and properties. The book is divided into sections that include talking about rubies in their colors and ranks, balkhash, pajadi, diamonds, pearls, emeralds, aquamarines, turquoise, crystals, dahan, jasper, fazhar, and kharut, mentioning the characteristics and defects of each gem.
