تهافت الفلاسفة هو كتاب الإمام الغزالي. اعتبر البعض هذا الكتاب ضربة لما وصفه البعض باستكبار الفلاسفة وادعائهم التوصل إلى الحقيقة في المسائل الغيبية بعقولهم، أعلن الغزالي في كتابه تهافت الفلاسفة فشل الفلسفة في إيجاد جواب لطبيعة الخالق وصرح أنه يجب أن تبقى مواضيع اهتمامات الفلسفة في المسائل القابلة للقياس والملاحظة مثل الطب والرياضيات والفلك واعتبر الغزالي محاولة الفلاسفة في إدراك شيء غير قابل للإدراك بحواس الإنسان منافيا لمفهوم الفلسفة أساسا. …

The Incoherence of Philosophers is a book by Imam Al-Ghazali. Some considered this book a blow to what some described as the arrogance of philosophers and their claim to reach the truth in unseen matters with their minds. Al-Ghazali declared in his book The Incoherence of the Philosophers the failure of philosophy to find an answer to the nature of the Creator and declared that the topics of philosophy’s interests should remain in measurable and observable issues such as medicine, mathematics, and astronomy.
