هذا الكتاب هو ترجمة عربية لكتاب "مبادئ الفلسفة" للفيلسوف رينيه ديكارت، قام بها عثمان أمين. يقدم الكتاب عرضًا مرتبًا لمبادئ الفلسفة الديكارتية في صورة دعاوى ونتائج، وقد ألّفه ديكارت ردًا على الحملة التي شنها أنصار الفلسفة المدرسية التقليدية عليه. يتضمن الجزء الأول من الكتاب مباحث في مبادئ المعرفة البشرية، إلى جانب رسائل وإهداءات من المؤلف والمترجم.

Translation

This book is an Arabic translation of the book “Principles of Philosophy” by the philosopher René Descartes, by Othman Amin. The book provides an organized presentation of the principles of Cartesian philosophy in the form of claims and results. Descartes wrote it in response to the campaign launched against him by supporters of traditional scholastic philosophy. The first part of the book includes discussions on the principles of human knowledge, along with letters and dedications from the author and translator.
