Translation

The book “A Summary of Medicine, Treatment with Food and Herbs” by Abd al-Malik ibn Habib is a work on prophetic medicine and treatment. It combines the hadiths contained in urging treatment and prescriptions for herbs and foods. The book covers various topics, such as cupping, its places and times, and the treatment of diseases such as fever, headaches, and leprosy, with an explanation of what medicines are permissible and forbidden. The book includes chapters on ensuring the doctor and treating wounds, based on traces narrated from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the imams of the predecessors.
