The book “Fragments” by the author Ahmed Shehata Al-Iskandari is a work in the sciences of hadith, in which he criticizes the contemporary hasty approach in judging the levels of health and weakness of hadiths, considering it similar to naive mathematical equations that may lead to abnormal results such as violating the rulings of previous imams. The book is based on studying the rulings of Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani in “Taqrib Al-Tahdheeb” to explain the ranks of narrators, focusing on examples of narrators of the fifth and sixth ranks and discussing their conditions.
