هذا كتابٌ في علوم الحديث يدرس الجانب التاريخي عند المحدّث أبي بكر بن أبي شيبة، ويستعرض منهجه في كتابه "التاريخ" وفروعه كالمغازي والفتوح وتراجم الأعلام. يبيّن البحث أهمية المصادر الحديثية في دراسة التاريخ الإسلامي المبكر، ويسلط الضوء على ما انفرد به ابن أبي شيبة من روايات تاريخية قد تكون فقدت من مصادرها الأخرى.

Translation

This is a book on Hadith sciences that studies the historical aspect of the hadith scholar Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah, and reviews his approach in his book “History” and its branches such as the Maghazis, Al-Futuhs, and biographies of notables. The research demonstrates the importance of hadith sources in the study of early Islamic history, and sheds light on the historical narratives unique to Ibn Abi Shaybah that may have been lost from other sources.
