Translation

This book examines the status of the Prophetic Sunnah as a revelation from God, reviewing evidence from the Holy Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the sayings of the Companions on that. It also addresses the efforts of the Companions, the Successors, and the followers of the Successors in preserving, codifying, and disseminating the Sunnah of the Prophet, starting from the era of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, until the later stages of codification.
