هذا كتاب في نقد الدراسات الاستشراقية، يركّز على كشف العيوب المنهجية في كتابات المستشرق جوزيف شاخت المتعلقة بالسنة النبوية. يبدأ الكتاب بتعريف بشاخت وأهم آرائه حول السنة، ثم يفصّل في ستة عيوب منهجية رئيسية وقع فيها، كالتحيز العنصري والانتقائية في المصادر والشك غير المنهجي وإهمال الأدلة المضادة. يهدف البحث إلى إثبات أن هذه العيوب تجعل نتائج شاخت غير مقبولة وفق أصول المنهج العلمي، حتى لدى غير المسلمين.

This is a book criticizing Orientalist studies, focusing on revealing the methodological flaws in the writings of the Orientalist Joseph Schacht related to the Sunnah of the Prophet.
