Translation

The book “Al-Mawqaza fi Ilm al-Hadith Terminology” by Imam Shams al-Din al-Dhahabi, which is a book on the sciences of hadith, deals with defining the types of prophetic hadith and explaining their ranks, starting with the authentic, the good, and the weak, and passing through other types such as the mursal, the interrupted, the suspended, and the raised, and focusing on issues related to deception, terminology, performance, and etiquette of the hadith narrator.
