هذه رسالة في علوم الحديث لأبي عبد الله محمد بن إسحاق بن منده، تتناول بيان فضل الأخبار النبوية وشرح مذاهب أهل الأثر في تلقي الروايات وتصحيحها. يبدأ المؤلف الكتاب بالحمد والثناء، ثم يتناول موضوعات تشمل شروط الأئمة في قبول الحديث، وطبقات المحدثين والناقلين للآثار من عصر الصحابة والتابعين فمن بعدهم، مع ترتيب الرواة من حيث القبول والرد، وذكر المشهورين بوضع الأسانيد والمتون.
Translation
This is a treatise on the sciences of hadith by Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Mandah. It deals with an explanation of the virtue of prophetic news and an explanation of the doctrines of the scholars of hadith in receiving and correcting narrations. The author begins the book with praise and praise, then addresses topics that include the conditions of the imams in accepting the hadith, the classes of hadith scholars and transmitters of hadiths from the era of the Companions and the Successors and those after them, along with the order of the narrators in terms of acceptance and refutation, and mentioning those famous for creating chains of transmission and texts.
