This is a book on the sciences of hadith, written by Ibn al-Salah under the title “Preserving Sahih Muslim from breach and error and protecting it.” It is dedicated to studying Sahih Muslim and explaining any breach, error or omission that may occur in it, with an explanation of its meanings and control of its wording. The author aims to alert students of hadith to the areas of omission and error in the book, and to protect them from them, noting that its usefulness extends to include Sahih al-Bukhari and other books of hadith.
