كتاب في علوم الحديث، يوجز فيه مؤلفه قواعد هذا الفن ومصطلحاته، مستعرضاً أنواع الحديث من حيث القبول والرد، كالصحيح والحسن والضعيف، ومن حيث طرق التحمل والأداء، ومراتب الإسناد، وأحوال الرواة جرحاً وتعديلاً. ويعد الكتاب مختصراً جامعاً لأهم أبواب المصطلح، مستنداً في منهجه إلى ما دوّنه كبار أئمة الحديث كالخطيب البغدادي وابن الصلاح.

Translation

A book on the sciences of hadith, in which the author summarizes the rules of this art and its terminology, reviewing the types of hadith in terms of acceptance and rejection, such as authentic, good, and weak, and in terms of methods of interpretation and performance, levels of chain of transmission, and conditions of narrators in terms of wounding and modification. The book is considered a comprehensive summary of the most important sections of the term, basing its approach on what was recorded by the major imams of hadith such as Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi and Ibn Al-Salah.
