يتناول هذا الكتاب تاريخ تطور كتابة المصحف الشريف وطباعته، بدءًا من مراحل كتابته الأولى في عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وجمعه في عهد الخلفاء الراشدين، مرورًا بتطور الخط العربي ونقط المصحف وتجويده وزخرفته، وصولًا إلى عصر الطباعة الحديثة. كما يخصص المؤلف مساحة واسعة للحديث عن عناية المملكة العربية السعودية بالقرآن الكريم، وخاصة من خلال مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، موضحًا أسلوب العمل في كتابة مصاحف المجمع وطبعها، بالإضافة إلى تسجيل التلاوات والترجمات والدراسات القرآنية.
Translation
This book deals with the history of the development of writing and printing the Noble Qur’an, starting from the first stages of its writing during the era of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and its compilation during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, through the development of Arabic calligraphy, the dots of the Qur’an, its intonation, and its decoration, all the way to the era of modern printing. The author also devotes extensive space to talking about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s care for the Holy Qur’an, especially through the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, explaining the method of work in writing and printing the complex’s Qur’an copies, in addition to recording recitations, translations, and Qur’anic studies.
