هذا كتاب في أصول التفسير، يبيّن القواعد والأسس التي يُعتمد عليها في فهم كلام الله تعالى وتفسيره. يبدأ المؤلف ببيان نزول القرآن الكريم، وأول ما نزل منه، وأسباب النزول، والمكي والمدني، ثم ينتقل إلى الحديث عن التفسير نفسه، وبيان الواجب على المسلم فيه، والمراجع المعتمدة في تفسير القرآن، وأنواع الاختلاف في التفسير المأثور، وحكم ترجمة القرآن، مع تراجم مختصرة لأشهر المفسرين من الصحابة والتابعين.
Translation
This is a book on the principles of interpretation, which explains the rules and foundations upon which one relies in understanding and interpreting the words of God Almighty. The author begins by explaining the revelation of the Noble Qur’an, the first thing that was revealed from it, the reasons for the revelation, the Meccan and the Medinan, then he moves on to talk about the interpretation itself, an explanation of what is obligatory for a Muslim in it, the approved references in interpreting the Qur’an, the types of differences in the interpretation of the hadiths, and the ruling on translating the Qur’an, with brief biographies of the most famous interpreters of the Companions and Followers.
