كتاب البرهان في تناسب سور القرآن، مؤلفه: أحمد بن إبراهيم بن الزبير بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن الزبير، أبو جعفر، الثقفي الغرناطي، ولد سنة (627هـ) وتلا بالسبع على أبي الحسن الشاري وسمع منه ومن إسحاق بن إبراهيم الطوسي، توفي سنة (708هـ). قال عنه ابن حجر: «وتصدر لإقراء كتاب الله تعالى وإسماع الحديث وتعليم العربية وتدريس الفقه عاكفا على ذلك عامة نهاره مثابرا على إفادة العلم ونشره انفرد بذلك وصارت الرحلة إليه وهو من أهل التجويد والإتقان عارفا بالقراءات حافظ للحديث مميز لصحيحه من سقيمه ذاكر لرجاله وتواريخهم متسع الرواية عني بها كثيرا». …
Translation
The book of proof in the proportionality of the surahs of the Qur’an, its author: Ahmad bin Ibrahim bin Al-Zubayr bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al-Zubayr, Abu Jaafar, Al-Thaqafi Al-Gharnati, born in the year (627 AH). He recited the seven to Abu Al-Hasan Al-Shaari and heard from him and from Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al-Tusi. He died in the year (708 AH). Ibn Hajar said about him: “He devoted himself to reading the Book of God Almighty, listening to hadith, teaching Arabic, and teaching jurisprudence, devoting to that for the whole of his day, persevering in benefiting and spreading knowledge. He was the only one to do that, and the journey to him began. He was one of the people of Tajweed and mastery, knowledgeable of recitations, memorizer of hadith, distinguishing authentic from incorrect, remembering his men and their histories, and extensively narrating it for me.” …
