كتاب بصائر ذوي التمييز، مؤلفه هو محمد بن يعقوب الفيروزآبادي المتوفى سنة 817هـ، تناول المؤلف عددا من العلوم مثل: تفسير القرآن العظيم، وعلم الحديث النبوي وتوابعه، وعلوم المعارف والحقائق، وفي الفقه وأصوله، وكذلك علم الجدل واللغة والصناعات وغيرها، وذلك عبر ستة وخمسين مقصداً ذكرها المؤلف في صدر كتابه. مؤلف الكتاب من أئمة اللغة والأدب، قاض، كان مرجع عصره في اللغة والحديث والتفسير، انتقل إلى شيراز وأخذ عن علمائها، واستمر بزبيد مدة عشرين سنة، وقدم في خلال هذه المدة مكة مرارا وجاور بالمدينة والطائف، وتوفي بزبيد سنة 817ه. ومن مؤلفاته: تنوير المقباس في تفسير ابن عباس. …
Translation
The book, Insights of Dhu’l-Tammiz, was written by Muhammad bin Yaqoub al-Fayrouzabadi, who died in the year 817 AH. The author dealt with a number of sciences, such as: the interpretation of the Great Qur’an, the science of the Prophet’s hadith and its implications, the sciences of knowledge and facts, jurisprudence and its foundations, as well as the science of dialectics, language, industries, and others, through fifty-six objectives mentioned by the author at the beginning of his book. The author of the book was one of the imams of language and literature, a judge, who was the authority of his time in language, hadith, and interpretation. He moved to Shiraz and learned from its scholars. He continued in Zabid for twenty years. During this period, he came to Mecca repeatedly and visited Medina and Taif. He died in Zabid in the year 817 AH. Among his works: Tanweer Al-Miqbas fi Tafsir Ibn Abbas. …
