About this work
جمال القراء هو كتاب لمؤلفه علم الدين علي بن محمد السخاوي، أحد مصنفات علوم القرآن، ويظهر أهميته في تعلقه بالقرآن الكريم، وقد قسمه مؤلفه إلى سبعة علوم، وهي: نثر الدرر في ذكر الآيات والسور، الإفصاح الموجِز في إيضاح المعجِز، منازل الإجلال والتعظيم في فضائل القرآن العظيم، تجزئة القرآن، أقوى العدد في معرفة العدد، ذكر الشواذ، الطود الراسخ في المنسوخ والناسخ. وانتفع بكتابه جماعة من علماء علوم القرآن ومنهم: أبو شامة، حيث نقل عنه في مواطن عديدة، وأكثر السيوطي في الإتقان في علوم القرآن من النقل عنه، كما في المكي والمدني، والحضري والسفري، والنهاري والليلي، وغيره.
Translation
The Beauty of the Qur’an is a book by its author, Ilm al-Din Ali bin Muhammad al-Sakhawi, one of the compilers of the sciences of the Qur’an. It shows its importance in its connection to the Holy Qur’an. Its author divided it into seven sciences, which are: scattering pearls in mentioning verses and surahs, concise disclosure in clarifying the miraculous, stations of reverence and glorification in the virtues of the Great Qur’an, fragmentation of the Qur’an, the strongest number in knowing the number, mentioning the abnormal, and the firm foundation in the abrogated and abrogated. A group of scholars of the sciences of the Qur’an benefited from his book, including: Abu Shama, as he quoted from it in many places, and Al-Suyuti was most proficient in the sciences of the Qur’an from narrating from it, as in the Meccan and the Medina, the urban and the Safari, the daytime and the nightly, and others.
