هذا كتاب في علوم القرآن، يبحث في مرحلة جمع القرآن الكريم إبان خلافة أبي بكر الصديق وعثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنهما. يوضح الكتاب بواعث الجمع وأسبابه في كل عهد، وكيفية تنفيذه، والوسائل المعتمدة فيه، ونتائجه وفوائده. كما يعقد مقارنة بين الجمعين، ويتناول مسألة الأحرف السبعة ومراعاتها في كل منهما.

Translation

This is a book on the sciences of the Qur’an, examining the stage of compiling the Holy Qur’an during the caliphate of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Uthman bin Affan, may God be pleased with them both. The book explains the motives and reasons for combining in each era, how to implement it, the methods adopted in it, and its results and benefits. He also draws a comparison between the two collections, and addresses the issue of the seven letters and their consideration in each of them.
