درة التنزيل وغرة التأويل، يتناول موضوع توجيه الآيات القرآنية التي تتشابه في اللفظ، والمتكررة في مواضع متعددة بكلمات متفقة أو مختلفة، والتي قد يرد حولها إشكال، أو التي يحتمل كونها محل نظر لأحد الأسباب. وقد ذكر المؤلف سبب تأليفه للكتاب في مقدمة الكتاب؛ فقال: «تدعوني دواع قوية، يبعثها نظر وروية، في الآيات المتكررة، بالكلمات المتفقة، والمختلفة، وحروفها المتشابهة المتعلقة، والمنحرفة تطلبا لعلامات ترفع لبس إشكالها، وتخص الكلمة بآياتها، دون أشكالها، فعزمت عليها بعد أن تأملت أكثر كتب المتقدمين، والمتأخرين، وفتشت عن أسرار معاني المتأولين المحققين المتبرين، فما وجدت أحدا من أهلها بلغ غاية كننها، كيف؟ …
Translation
Durrat al-Tanzeel wa Ghurat al-Interpretation deals with the topic of directing Qur’anic verses that are similar in pronunciation, that are repeated in multiple places with identical or different words, about which a problem may arise, or that may be subject to consideration for some reason. The author mentioned the reason for writing the book in the introduction to the book; He said: “I was called by strong motives, prompted by consideration and consideration, at the repeated verses, with the words that agree, the different ones, and their similar, related, and deviant letters, seeking signs that would remove the ambiguity of their ambiguities, and specificize the word to its verses, not its forms.
